1.great staff, pleasant
The location is perfect. the beach all quiet at the same time. warm and rich breakfast:) Highly Recommended ~

2.Book while its low cost
We stayed for 7 days and it was fantastic! This pool is even better than what appears on the photo. Breakfast and Thai food was excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful, no problems with maintenance. Great location, lots of good restaurants on much cleaner and quieter than Patong. A little 'more of a walk to the beach but the pool is only if we had gone to the beach twice!
We got this hotel at a bargain rate because they are filled with a hole for the soft, and there are still some passwords Construstion much smaller. Pas de problèmes d'ordre administratif, ils étaient grands. But I wish that the rates go up, could easily double, escpecially during the high season, in order to capture while it's still cheap.

Strengths: Nice site. Incredible pool. Beautiful rooms, bathrooms in particular. Great food.
Cons: Some staff are very basic English. 10 minutes to the beach. Gym could do with trucks

3.pool was very nice, maid service was very poor though.
I / th was okay (the staff was nice and ESP. The pool was really nice.) Except cleaning services. Cleaning and maid (I do not know his name was difficult, we were in 5101 access to the pool of 29 luxury AGOSTO-AGO STO 31.2009) has been terrible ever among the hotels and resorts have been so far.

From day one, the floor is not clean.
The 2nd day, wet towels were still there in the room, not enough towels and there was no new herbal tea and bags of coffee at all, seemed completely empty the trash, not cleaning everything. That's all he's done!
Our last day of check-out, somthing stupid happened. the "stupid" housekeeper checked on the checklist that we ate a snack from the mini-bar, not even more to see the mini-bar. (snack bar was still there intact mini-bar.) In fact, we understand how the light from 7-Eleven and we ate lunch, we bought, and not the mini-snack bars. She did not even check and I think we ate. How stupid it was. Still angry against what happened and the housekeeper stupid. (only a small amount, I want my board back to its good!)

4.Nice Resort, pool super, the service must improve
We stayed in Metadee Resort in August 2009. The resort is brand new. We stayed in a pool villa. The room was very large, light and had everything we wanted. You can step right into the vast reservoir of your room. It has a terrace with two width of the platform. Only strange thing is that the sliding doors to the terrace are poorly constructed. Are closed a little help. The mere fact that the opportunity to swim with someone of your deck and break room is not very big, there was also the problem of mosquitoes, which also have easy access. We had no bugs or mosquitoes in our room during the stay, but that really surprised me.

The breakfast was good but nothing special. Food from the kitchen of the restaurant was great. The bar service was also very good with a friendly real. The reception staff was also good, but needs to improve the service. Since we have to book in advance and only walk we had booked rate. But we knew that the rate through their website. When we asked, they gave us a higher rate, then on their site. When we pointed out that the rates of line were better, we have offered a discount on that rate. Very strange and not so smart. Never try to sell a room at a pace later on your website. It's just easier to check for Custommer.

ChekOUT I wanted to keep the room more than an hour because of our flight from Phuket. This was possible only if we paid extra 7 € .... The hotel was 25% occupied I think. The money does not bother me, but it gives the feeling that they want to make money on small things.

The hotel is within walking distance to downtown and the beach (7 minute walk). Staff will come from the main road with a golfcart. I do not know if you will, if the hotel is full, but it's a beautiful gesture, as if to walk to the main road that connects the hotel is anotha 3-4 minutes. It's a really nice massage place just outside the hotel which is really excellent.

Kata Beach is very beautiful and there's not much to do in the off season. The waves made it difficult and dangerous to swim. But if you walk on the north side of the beach is much better. The hawkers on the beach are not so bad, all smiles and "no thanks" is more than enough. The tailors in the village itself are quite aggressive in sales. Simply ignore them, if you do not need a costume.

5.More as excellent
Me and my wife was there for our honeymoon from 12/06/09 to 19/06/09. I can say that it was better than our expectations!
Kata is the most beautiful beach in Phuket. Away from the noisy Patong, but with many choices of restaurants and bars.
Metadee Resort is a wonderful news in the heart of Kata Beach. The hole is loft style Reception (lobby), restaurant, fitness rooms and villas!
When we arrived, the stuff was very friendly. We did an upgrade to Pool Villa Viila access to a private pool! E 'was great for our first time!
The material was very helpful and smiling all the time.
They took us by golf cart! Villa our private pool. A villa of 120m ² with everything that we wanted to spend a wonderful stay!
Every day cleaning of the villa, pool and garden.
There was a restaurant becide the (very large, clean and warm), the main pool. An ideal place to eat or drink with Thai and international cuisine. The price was very good and even the dishes!
We had a wonderful stay there for our honeymoon. We want to return soon!
Thanks to all the things (Mr. Tae, Joy, Ying Ji, Ju, Jon, Koka, NU, F, mud, Kee, June) who helped us and made our stay so beautiful!
We highly recommend this hotel to those who want to remain a paradise!

The Best in Bo Phut

Spent about ten nights in The Waterfront and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay. There's a great mix of professionalism and attention to detail but blended with a personal, informal touch. Sue and Robin are a joy to meet and their staff are excellent, within a very short time you feel right at home!

Rooms are lovely and soooooooooo clean! Breakfast not to be missed, definitely the best pancakes in the region (Well done, Cooking!). Good craic at the bar at night but never rowdy. Really it would be hard to fault this little gem!

Fantastic, wonderful The place to have the time of your life. This was our 3rd trip to the wonderful country of Thailand. Previously we played it safe by booking 5 star hotel and spa accommodation. Consequently, we were a little apprehensive when we realised that the cost of this holiday was £1000 less than previous years.

However, from the moment we arrived we felt that we had bagged the bargain of a lifetime.

The rooms were excellent and the service was second to none. Robin and Sue (owners) their family and the staff seem dedicated to making sure that your every need is met.

The views were breathtaking, the food was great, and the hotel is located close to everything you need to shop, eat and drink.

But the thing that made this holiday really special was the atmosphere. It’s very hard to explain this - it is so relaxed, friendly and welcoming - even though you’re far away from home you feel part of a big, happy family.

During our visit the hotel won the “Asia’s best hidden gem an award” but now we feel that the Waterfont is becoming one of Thailand’s worst kept secrets, with more and more people retuning year after year.

Total relaxation with great hospitality

Well I admit I was a tad worried after some reviews here, but I needn't have been. The Waterfront was all I hoped for and more.

After a week touring Hong Kong and Bangkok, we simply wanted to relax. The Waterfront was the place to do it. We were met at the airport by Michael who showed us around Bophut en route to the hotel.

Sue introduced us to the staff, who from then on knew what room we were in, and simply charged drinks, lunch etc. automatically.

Sue then took us to our room and showed us how everything worked....and from then on it felt like we were personally invited house guests.

Room information included recommended shops and restaurants in the village, also places of interest around the island.

Plus on our wedding anniversary, our bed was decorated with flower petals spelling out a Happy Anniversary message. (Oh dear, I DO hope those flower stains washed out Sue!)

We had a wonderful week, the only downside was that we had to leave.

That's when we got a nice surprise,... We'd charged all drinks, lunch, snacks etc to the room. Our bill at the end of 7 days for 2 people came to £109! All prices were the same as or less than in the village

When we did check out, Robin even drove us back to the airport. How can you fault service like that?

I so hope we will visit again. It's a place I would have invented if it had not already been done!

Thanks, Sue, Robin and Michael for a fantastic stay.

In the words of Arnie Schwarzenegger...We'll be BACK!

Fantastic

Great resort with friendly and helpfull staff. The rooms are clean and well maintained with all the modern trimmings, but still have a traditional, laid back feeling.
The best resort ive ever stayed at. Right on the beach and central to all the tourist hot spots. Will definately be going back again.

Beautiful location

Stayed here in January 2008 - was a beautiful place. The rooms are nice and lead out to a small little verandah/balcony overlooking the pool. The pool is also great for relaxing around. A short walk across the road is Ao Nang beach which has some spectacular sunsets. You can also walk to the shops which start on your street. A short boat ride away you'll find all the limestone caves where we went canoeing. We also took a speed boat ride over to a 5 Island tour - including the Phi Phi Island, made famous by the movie "The Beach".

Very Unexpected

I was made aware of the construction going on within the hotel at the time of our stay, but I did not expect to see a run-down lobby as my impression from the images on the internet was pleasant. The check-in procedure was fine, albeit slightly difficult because of the language issue. The real drama started when we were given our rooms (10ppl in 4 rooms)...over the next 24hrs 3 of 4 rooms had a blocked drain in the toilet or shower, leakage from the shower onto the room floor and constant electricity failure in 1 room. This was all made known to the staff who made an attempt to help but were clearly out of their depth. These problems caused us to cut our stay at this hotel and move to a different one. Positives - the manager was wonderful and understanding, and the location is excellent.

Small Hotel Fantastic Location

Best Location at Ao Nang right on the beach and main shopping areas. Hotel has nearly finished its renovations, did not find this a problem at all. Rooms are kept very clean and tidy, Breakfast was basic but good quality.Staff very friendly and helpful.Did not eat dinner hear ate at the resturants on main street so i can not comment on the food for lunch/dinner. Had cocktails at the Bar as we watched the sunset.

Wonderful accommodation for honeymooners! - Jacquie K

This hotel was a wonderful start to our Thailand holiday. Upon arriving we were greeted with warm and helpful staff who ultimately became the reason that we'll go back to Phra Nang Inn again and again!
I have reccommended this hotel to anyone wanting to honeymoon in Thailand, it was beautiful. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and were treated like and felt like royalty! I only wish that every holiday accommodation could be as satisfying as the Phra Nang Inn. Rooms were clean, comfortable and the hotel pool and surroundings was a sancutary to come home to after a day at the beach or on the boat.
Stay at the Phra Nang Inn if you want to have a great time in Krabi and want to be relaxed to the max!!
